QA software tester

LOGICARE Corp, a provider of healthcare software for Emergency Departments and hospital education has a full-time, limited-term postion open in our Quality Assurance department assisting team members with the execution of day-to-day product-project related testing.

We are interested in filling a full-time (40 hour) position during the summer months and will accomodate a part-time schedule starting in September.

Work includes:
Running manual test cases and documenting results within a defect management database.
Assisting with troubleshooting efforts for issues identified as a result of alpha testing, beta testing, and/or general release of a product.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Solid technical skills including working knowledge of PC, networks, operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong problem solving skills
Effective organizational skills
Knowledge of quality assurance
Effective interpersonal skills


Minimum Qualifications:
Experience with an working knowledge of Windows and Windows applications
Must have completed first 2 semesters and continue to be enrolled in a computer related college program - or equivilent experience.
